The ethics committee ensures that ADLINGA members conduct our business in an ethical manner in accordance to government and university regulations
CUPE RepresentativeOtto Chan
CUPE is the Union that all working graduate students are protected by. Our CUPE representative ensures that linguistic graduate students have a voice in CUPE decision making and that all important information is well communicated.
COGS RepresentativesEloise Choi
COGs is responsible for graduate studies in linguistics. The committee is comprised of 3 full time faculty members. Each graduate student is assigned a COGs mentor at the beginning of their studies. Our COGS representatives ensure that graduate students have open communication with the COGs committee.

Our secretary's role is to make meeting arrangements and keep formal records of any ADLINGA decisions. They are responsible for keeping the minutes of the ADLINGA meetings.

GSAéD RepresentativeOtto Chan
GSAÉD is the uOttawa's graduates association. Our GSAÉD representative keeps open communication with the graduate association to ensure linguistic graduate students are well represented outside of the department.

Our social committee is responsible for organizing social events throughout the year. Social events provide graduate students with an opportunity to get to know other graduates in the program while letting off steam.

Let us know if you are interested in joining the team or contributing to the association. Each new academic year ADLINGA meets to assign roles and discuss the upcoming year. All linguistics graduate students are welcome at the meeting.
